Tuesday Night Movie Nights with LCWM

The Land Conservancy of West Michigan was featured in a WCMU documentary titled Michigan Land Conservation: The Present That Lasts Forever. Join LCWM Land Protection Specialist Pete DeBoer at three area libraries to view the documentary and ask any questions you may have regarding conservation easements and preserving private land. All are welcome; RSVP is not necessary.

You can help save the Saugatuck Harbor Natural Area!

 
At the mouth of the Kalamazoo River in Saugatuck is a natural landscape unlike any other in West Michigan: a long stretch of white sand beach, rolling open dunes, a small inland lake fringed with rushes, and dark, forest-covered dune hills towering over all. Learn how you can help save the Saugatuck Harbor Natural Area and be a part of this amazing land protection project!


Mission

To keep nature nearby, the Land Conservancy of Michigan permanently protects natural and scenic lands.  To date, the Land Conservancy has permanently protected nearly 7,000 acres of West Michigan's forests, fields, wetlands and dunes in a service area that includes all or parts of Allegan, Kent, Ottawa, Newaygo, Muskegon, Oceana, Mason and Lake Counties.
