Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers play a vital role in helping the Land Conservancy keep nature nearby by protecting and stewarding the lands and waters of West Michigan. We could not do everything we do without our committed volunteers.
Volunteering is a great way to contribute to the Land Conservancy, get out in nature, meet new people, build your resume, share your skills, and have fun with family and friends.
Our office is in Grand Rapids, but our properties are located throughout our West Michigan service area. Chances are we have volunteer opportunities near you.
Whether you have a lot of time or a little, we’ve got an opportunity for you.
Here are some ways that you can help:
- Become a preserve steward
- Participate in an event
- Coordinate an event with your group (business, church, school)
- Join our mailing crew
- Help at our office
- Share your special skills (plant/animal identification, photography, construction, design, writing etc.)
- Be an ambassador for us at community events
If you are interested in volunteering for the Land Conservancy, please complete our volunteer sign-up form.
